About MeAs you might have figured out my name is Fredrik Rambris. I live in southern Sweden with my parents Frank and Kerstin and our dog Viggo. I was born in January 1977 in the hospital of Trelleborg.Ever since my father bought a computer (an Ohio Scientific) back in the early eighties I've been interested in computers. Since then I've used Spectra Video 318 and 328, Luxor ABC 80, Ronnex TPC 80, Commodore 64 (called VIC 64 in Sweden) and 128, the whole range of Amiga computers (A1000, A500, A2000, A500+, A600, A1200, CDTV, CD32, A3000, A4000, A4000T), some Ataris, a range of PCs, some SGIs, a VAX (if I remember correctly), and a whole bunch I've forgotten. So... yes! I'm a computerfreak! =)
I'm since my first contact with them a Amiga-fanatic. However since the lack of support from companies to bring this wonderful platform again to the future I've been focusing on Linux. I assure you... when they release the new super-Amiga I almost certainly will buy myself a new one if my economy permits it.
I like programming. Once in a while I hack something up that may be useful for others and I put it on this page. I started out with BASIC on the Spectra Video (it's BASIC interpreter is the most intuitive I've ever seen) and then went on to BASIC variants such as AMOS and Blitz on the Amiga. I've sampled Amiga E, Motorola 68k assembler and AREXX. I learned C and it became a second language to me. So When I don't sit infront of my computers, sleep or eat I like to use my camera and snap some nice pictures.
